Taco Bell's Spicy Chicken Too Tepid

Place: Taco Bell
Items: Taco Bell Spicy Chicken Burrito
Prices: $1.29

Intro: Sometimes we feel sorry for Taco Bell. In a world gravitating towards the mega-stuffed, over-sized, over-fresh California-style Burritos like Chipolte, Taco Bell stands out as somewhat of an ‘80's throwback. But we're still there at least twice a month because they always have something fun and new to try. Plus, everything they do is usually good and so cheap, we end up feeling sorry for the “upscale burritos.” After all, Taco Bell has over 6000 stores and serves around 35 million people each week. I'll take two of these, the extra cash and run with my order. (I tried for a Run for the Border pun)

If I have any complaints with the Spicy Chicken Burrito it's that there's too much tortilla. But I don't even think twice about this. At a buck-twenty-nine I don't mind just tearing off one end of excess, scooting all the stuffing down towards the other end and eating my burrito vertically.

The Bell's execs say the Spicy Chicken is to give “burger-bored” consumers another exciting new taste. Quite frankly, the taste is
